Summary

Chris McCandless started out his journey into the wild with just a dream. That dream turned into reality eventually. He walked and traveled up and down the West, taking jobs just for entertainment, as well as working to get the money to support himself when needed and supply his need for equipment for traveling. Chris found friends in people much different from those he grew up around. He really left his mark on their hearts and memories, as well as their activities. For example, Ron Franz's life style changed drastically. Instead of living his whole life stuck in his house making belts, he left it and lived out in the wild in his trailor on the back of his truck.

After going into the wild of Alaska, Chris's life completely changed. He had to live off the land with no other help like fast food chains or anything. It was just him and the wild. Sadly, he made some poor choices, causing his death eventually. But his story will live on forever.
