Wow, Chris McCandless traveled A LOT! From Emory University to Texas, and then on to Colorado, this guy must have been in great shape. I mean who wouldn't be from all that walking and exercising in general? I know I definitely could not have done that! At least not right now anyway. I am in no way, shape, or form physically or mentally ready. I wonder what it felt like to be out there just walking and hitchhiking? It must have been pretty crazy. Like, what if he went on a ride with this person who was a serial killer or something of the sort? He could have died right then and there! I guess the thrill of it all would be a spectacular story to tell if he had made it back alive.
